Fail Safe Mode

When a malfunction is detected, ECM enters fail safe mode and MIL lights up. The ECM controls electric throttle control actuator in regulating throttle opening for idle position to be within +10 degrees. The ECM regulates opening speed of throttle valve to be slower than normal condition. Acceleration will be poor.
