Coil Spring And Strut: Installation

  1. Attach strut upper plate. See Fig 1 .
  2. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Tighten nuts and bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Check wheel alignment. See WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS & PROCEDURES  in ADJUSTMENTS & INSPECTION.
  3. After adjusting wheel alignment, adjust neutral position of steering angle sensor. See appropriate ANTI-LOCK/TRACTION CONTROL article in BRAKES.
