Removal & Installation: Starter

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
  2. Remove engine undercover.
  3. Disconnect "S" connector.
  4. Remove "B" terminal nut.
  5. Remove starter motor mounting bolt and nut. See Fig 1 .
  6. Remove right engine mount insulator.
  7. Remove starter motor from under vehicle.
  8. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten all bolts and nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
