With Nissan CONSULT-II Scan Tool

  1. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Connect Nissan CONSULT tester to Data Link Connector (DLC). DLC is located under instrument panel, next to parking brake release handle. See Fig 1 . Turn ignition switch to ON position. Press START. Check the model specification, touch either WITH SUNROOF or WITHOUT SUNROOF.
  2. Press In-Vehicle Multiplexing System (IVMS), then MULTI-REMOTE CONT SYS button on scan tool display. Touch WORK SUPPORT. REMO CONT ID CONFIR use this mode to confirm if a electronic key ID code is registered or not. REMO CONT ID REGIST use this mode to register a electronic key ID code. REMO CONT ID ERASUR use this mode to erase a electronic key ID code.
