NOTE: Driveability problems that may appear to be transmission related may be caused by a faulty engine component. Engine-related DTCs MUST be repaired before diagnosing transmission. See SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - Q45 article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE. Failure to diagnose and repair engine-related DTCs prior to transmission diagnosis may result in incorrect diagnosis or component repair.
