Front Suspension

  1. Inspect tires for wear and improper inflation. Inspect front wheel bearings for looseness. Measure wheel lateral and radial runout. See WHEEL RUNOUT SPECIFICATIONS  table.

  2. Check front suspension components for looseness. Check steering linkage for looseness. Verify front shock absorbers work properly. Measure vehicle riding height. See RIDING HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT .
  3. Measure camber and caster. See WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS . If camber and/or caster are not within specification, inspect and replace any damaged or worn front suspension components.
