Wake-Up Diagnosis

  1. This mode checks if each LCU is appropriately shifting from sleep mode to wake-up mode. To perform wake-up mode diagnostics, turn ignition switch to LOCK position and connect Nissan's CONSULT scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Turn ignition switch to ON position.
  2. Touch IVMS COMM CHECK, then WAKE-UP DIAGNOSIS. To select LCU for wake up diagnosis, touch NEXT until desired LCU is displayed. Within 15 seconds, touch START and turn switch displayed on scan tool to ON position. If FAILURE DETECTED is displayed, replace appropriate LCU.
  3. If NO FAILURE is displayed, LCU is okay. Touch NEXT on scan tool to test other LCUs, or touch END to exit. If FAILURE DETECTED SW DATA UNMATCH is displayed, touch RETEST to repeat wake-up diagnosis.
