DTC P1464: Fuel Level Sensor Circuit (Ground Signal): Procedure
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect ECM harness connector. See Figure. Check continuity between body ground and ECM harness connector terminal No. 59. See Figure. Also check circuit for short to voltage. Repair as necessary and retest system. If ground circuit is okay, go to next step.
- Remove access cover from under rear seat. Remove fuel level sensor from fuel tank. Measure resistance between fuel level sensor and fuel pump harness connector terminals No. 2 and 5, with sensor at specified positions. See Figure. See FUEL LEVEL SENSOR RESISTANCE table. If resistance is as specified, go to next step. If resistance is not as specified, replace fuel level sensor and retest system.
- No problem is indicated at this time. Problem may be intermittent. See TESTING PROCEDURE under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM in SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - INTRODUCTION article.
