Repair and Diagnosis: Transmission: Clutches: Bleeding
Ensure clutch master cylinder brake fluid reservoir is properly filled. Connect a transparent vinyl tube to clutch damper connected in-line between master cylinder and slave cylinder. Slowly and fully depress clutch pedal several times. With clutch fully depressed, open bleeder screw to release air. Close bleeder screw. Recheck reservoir fluid level, and repeat procedure until fluid is clear. Repeat procedure with vinyl tube connected to slave cylinder bleeder screw. Ensure clutch master cylinder brake fluid reservoir is properly filled. Tighten bleeder screw to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
