Diagnostic Procedure

  1. Check EVAP canister for cracks or damage. Check all vacuum connections for clean, tight fit. See Fig 1. Repair or replace as necessary. If no faults are found, go to diagnostic test DTC P0440: EVAPORATIVE EMISSION (EVAP) CONTROL SYSTEM LEAK .
