Control Cable: I30
- Detents should be felt in each range as selector lever shifts from "P" to "1". If detents cannot be felt or pointer is improperly aligned, adjust cable.
- Place selector lever in "P" range and loosen lock nuts on linkage. Ensure transaxle is fully engaged in Park. Loosen control cable lock nut and place manual shaft in "P" position. Pull cable with 1.5 lb. (6.9 N.m) in direction of arrow. Return cable in opposite direction .039" (1.0 mm). Tighten control cable lock nut. Move selector lever from "P" to "1" position. Ensure selector lever moves smoothly. Apply grease to contacting areas of selector lever and control cable. See Fig 1
