Accelerator Cable

CAUTION: DO NOT  twist or scratch cable wire during adjustment procedure.
  1. Loosen accelerator cable lock nut. See Fig 1 -4. Tighten accelerator cable adjusting nut until middle throttle drum starts to move. Tighten accelerator cable lock nut to 69-96 INCH lbs. (8-11 N.m).
  2. Loosen throttle cable lock nut. See Fig 1 -4. Tighten throttle cable adjusting nut until throttle drum starts to move. Back off throttle cable adjusting nut 1 1/2 - 2 turns, and tighten throttle cable lock nut to 69-96 INCH lbs. (8-11 N.m).
