No Remote Control Functions

Check remote controller battery. See DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE 1 under SYSTEM TESTS. Replace if necessary. If battery is okay, enter Identity (ID) code of a different or new remote controller. See PROGRAMMING REMOTE CONTROLLER . Retest system. If ID code cannot be entered, perform DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE 2. See SYSTEM TESTS .

NOTE: Before proceeding with the following symptom checks, check remote controller input signal using Nissan CONSULT scan tool in DATA MONITOR mode, or perform MODE II (SWITCH SIGNAL MONITOR). See INFINITI - MULTIPLEX CONTROL SYSTEMS article.
