DTC P0600 - A/T Control

NOTE: In case of the diagnostic item, the freeze frame data will not be stored in the ECM. This diagnosis does not have 2 trip detection logic, and will not light up the MIL.
  1. Check Input Signal Circuit Turn ignition off. Disconnect ECM wiring harness connector. See Figure. Disconnect A/T control unit wiring harness connector. See Fig 1. Check continuity between the following connector terminals: See Fig 2.
    • ECM connector terminal No. 65 and A/T control unit connector terminal No 47.
    • ECM connector terminal No. 66 and A/T control unit connector terminal No 38.
    • ECM connector terminal No. 73 and A/T control unit connector terminal No 10.
    • ECM connector terminal No. 74 and A/T control unit connector terminal No 11.
    • ECM connector terminal No. 77 and A/T control unit connector terminal No 12.

Continuity should be present. If continuity is present, go to next step. If continuity is not present, repair harness or connectors between ECM and A/T control unit.

2) Leave ignition off. Check continuity between the following terminals: See Fig 3.

Continuity should be present. If continuity is present, go to next step. If continuity is not present, repair harness or connectors between ECM and A/T control unit.

3) Check ECM and A/T control unit wiring harness connector pins for damage or corrosion. Check all circuit connector for clean, tight fit. If fault is still present, repeat step 1).
