Alternator & Regulator: Description

Hitachi and Mitsubishi alternators are conventional 3-phase, self-rectifying alternators. Three positive and 3 negative diodes are used to rectify current. Q45 is equipped with an Integrated Circuit (IC) voltage regulator.
