Fuel Pump

The electric in-tank fuel pump is turned on by the ECU through the fuel pump relay. Fuel pump will be energized by the ECU, for up to 5 seconds when ignition is first turned on, during cranking and running, and will be de-energized within 1.5 seconds after engine stops.
