EGR Temperature Sensor (CALIF. Models)

California models are equipped with an exhaust gas temperature sensor located near the EGR valve. This sensor is used to determine when EGR is actually taking place. If sensor indicates a low exhaust gas temperature when EGR action is commanded, ECU can determine if an EGR fault is present.
