The Electronic EGR Control Valve is located between the EGR cooler and the exhaust line. It is a solenoid valve which controls the amount of exhaust gases with the PCM's duty signal calculated based on required intake air amount and engine load.

The EGR is a system used to reuse exhaust gases as intake air to reduce the excessive temperature or air amount in the combustion chamber.
