DTC Setting Condition

Item DTC setting condition
Main Action Oxygen sensor response time monitoring (lean to rich)
Prerequisite Condition Vehicle speed 25 MPH (40 km/h) or higher
Atmospheric Pressure 75 kPa or more
Upstream oxygen sensor preparation state (Oxygen sensor tip temperature 800°C or more, heating time 30 seconds or more after dew point)
Downstream oxygen preparation state (Oxygen sensor tip temperature 730°C or more, heating time 75 seconds or more after dew point)
Difference between target lambda and actual lambda less than 0.25
Cooling water temperature over 56°C
Model catalyst temperature 560 ~ 940°C
Engine speed RPM 1056 - 3296RPM
Engine load 26 ~ 31% or more, 87 ~ 100% or less (intake air amount 140 ~ 470mg/stroke)
Stable driving conditions (the difference between the actual engine speed and the filtered engine speed is 160 RPM or less, the difference between the actual intake air volume and the filtered intake air volume is 60 mg/stroke or less, the difference between the actual lambda and the filtered lambda is 7% or less, the integrated intake air volume more than 7g)
The Downstream oxygen sensor voltage is 0.7V or more
Integrated intake air volume 10g or more
Lambda (rich ↔ lean) active state
Fault Determination When the time for the sensor voltage to change from lean to rich is more than 0.8 seconds
Diagnosis Time 25 seconds
Threshold Value for Warning Light 2nd drive cycle
