VDC Module Inspection

Information

ABS (VDC) signal inspection → Basic Inspection for Connector Status → CAN line inspection → CAN waveform inspection, if the cause of the failure could not be confirmed, the ABS (VDC) controller itself may be faulty.

In this case, replace it with a normal controller and check if the DTC is cleared.

  1. In order to determine the failure of the existing ABS (VDC), replace it with a non-defective ABS (VDC) module.
  2. Check that the fault code does not recur and that it operates normally.

    OK

Determine it as the existing controller trouble and

    "Final DTC Checking"  procedure.

    NG

Existing ABS (VDC) cannot be determined as the cause of failure.

Reinstall the old ABS (VDC) and "Final DTC Checking"  procedure.

    Information

If the failure continues even after replacing the ABS (VDC), do not replace the controller as it is not the cause of the failure.
