MDPS Inspection

Information 

MDPS Signal Inspection → Basic Inspection for Connector Status → CAN Line Inspection → CAN waveform Inspection.

In this case, replace it with a normal controller and check if the DTC is cleared.

1. To determine the failure of the existing MDPS, replace it with a non-defective MDPS module.
2. Check that the fault code does not recur and that it operates normally.

   OK 

   Determine it as the existing controller trouble and

   "Final DTC Checking"  procedure.

   NG 

   The existing MDPS cannot be determined as the cause of failure.

   Reinstall the existing MDPS and "Final DTC Checking"  procedure.

   Information 

   If the failure continues even after replacing the MDPS, the controller is not the cause of the failure, so do not replace it.
