Inspection for Connector Connection State

Information 

The electronic control unit consists of numerous wires and connectors. Therefore, the cause of many failures related to the electronic control device is caused by poor contact of the terminal.

These failures can cause a variety of failures and even damage parts.

1. Check the connector for normal connection.
2. Connect any unconnected or poorly connected connector properly, then check if the DTC reoccurs.
3. Is the troubled location identified?

   OK 

   "Inspection for Disconnected Connector (moisture check, terminal slip check)"  procedure.

   NG 

   Repair the cause of the trouble, such as looseness, poor contact, bending, etc. of the connector,

   "Final DTC Checking"  procedure.
