    Controller Quality Judgement Procedure

    1. Refer to CLUSTER UNIT and replace with a good instrument panel unit.
    2. Be sure to perform 'CLU Variant Coding' for good instrument panel units by referring to the appropriate service information.
    3. If the fault code is erased after installing the good instrument panel unit: It is determined that the controller is defective and the vehicle is shipped with the good instrument panel unit replaced.
    4. If the fault code is not erased after installing the non-defective instrument panel unit: The existing controller cannot be determined as the cause of the fault. In this case, reinstall the existing instrument panel unit and recheck the entire inspection flow.
