Inspection For Wiring/Grounding Bolt/Fuse

Information 

  1. When the module's "Power, Ground, CAN (High), CAN (Low)" wiring is disconnected, communication with the diagnosis equipment is not smooth and messages cannot be sent through the CAN communication line.
  2. Check the "power, ground" wiring disconnection of the module through a multi-tester.
  3. If an invalid data is measured in power circuit, check the power connection line and the fuse condition.
  4. If an invalid value is measured in ground circuit, check proper connection of the ground connection line and the ground bolt.
  5. If the CAN line is defective, check the CAN-related fault code first.

    1. IGN Switch "ON"
    2. Disconnect the automatic transmission control module connector

    Automatic transmission control module (G 1.6 T-GDI: Except Europe)
    Ground Circuit    		 Approx. 1Ω or below
    1. IGN Switch "OFF"
    2. Disconnect the automatic transmission control module connector
    		 Automatic transmission control module connector side
    71, 73, 74. Ground     		 Chassis Ground 
    Powertrain control module (G 2.0 MPI)
    Power Circuit    		 About 12V (battery voltage)
    1. IGN Switch "ON"
    2. Disconnect the powertrain control module connector
    		 Powertrain control module connector side
    96, 119. Power     		 Chassis Ground 
    Powertrain control module (G 2.0 MPI)
    Ground Circuit    		 Approx. 1Ω or below
    1. IGN Switch "OFF"
    2. Disconnect the powertrain control module connector
    		 Powertrain control module connector side
    1. Ground     		 Chassis Ground 
    Double clutch transmission control module (G 1.0 T-GDI, G 1.6 T-GDI: Europe)
    Power Circuit    		 About 12V (battery voltage)
    1. IGN Switch "ON"
    2. Disconnect the double clutch transmission control module connector
    		 Double clutch transmission control module connector side
    11, 14, 15, 16. Power     		 Chassis Ground 
    Double clutch transmission control module (G 1.0 T-GDI, G 1.6 T-GDI: Europe)
    Ground Circuit    		 Approx. 1Ω or below
    1. IGN Switch "OFF"
    2. Disconnect the double clutch transmission control module connector
    		 Double clutch transmission control module connector side
    1, 2. Ground     		 Chassis Ground 

    OK 

    Go to "Inspection For Transmission Control Module Components"  procedure.

    NG 

    Repair or replace the parts of the inspection item.

    Go to "Final DTC Checking"  Inspection For procedure.
