Controller Quality Judgement Procedure
- Refer to CLUSTER UNIT and replace with a good instrument panel unit.
- Be sure to perform 'CLU Variant Coding' for good instrument panel units by referring to the appropriate service information.
- If the fault code is erased after installing the good instrument panel unit: It is determined that the controller is defective and the vehicle is shipped with the good instrument panel unit replaced.
- If the fault code is not erased after installing the non-defective instrument panel unit: The existing controller cannot be determined as the cause of the fault. In this case, reinstall the existing instrument panel unit and recheck the entire inspection flow.
