Repair Procedures: Installation
- To install, reverse the removal procedures.
- In case of the reinstallation:
- Replace the oil seal with a new one when ATF leak occurred because of differential oil seal damage.
- Fill the engine and transaxle system coolant.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - " ENGINE COOLANT ")
- Check the ATF level after refilling the automatic transaxle with fluid.
(Refer to Hydraulic System - " AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE FLUID (ATF) ")
- Clear the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) using the diagnostic tool.NOTE:
- Even though disconnecting the battery negative terminal, the DTC will not be cleared.
- Add coolant on the hybrid motor cooling system and perform air bleeding job using diagnostic tool.
- Perform the engine clutch fluid pressure calibration using the diagnostic tool.
- Perform the motor/HSG resolver calibration using the diagnostic tool.
- In case of the replacing with a new automatic transaxle.
- New automatic transaxle is already filled with specified quantity ATF.
- Clear the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) using the diagnostic tool.NOTE:
- Even though disconnecting the battery negative terminal, the DTCs will not be cleared.
- Reset the automatic transaxle adaptive values using the diagnostic tool.
- Perform EOP flow deviation learning using the diagnostic tool.
- Connect VCI data cable to self-diagnosis connector located at the bottom part of driver seat crash pad.
- Start the engine and turn on VCI.
- Select the name of vehicle type from diagnostic tool equipment screen.
- Commence EOP oil flow deviation learning.
- Perform the oil-pressure characteristics input using the diagnostic tool.
- Perform the TCM adaptive values learning procedure.
