Active Purge Pump Sensor [Front]

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
  2. Remove the ECM.

    (Refer to Engine Control/Fuel System  - "ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM) REPAIR PROCEDURES ")

  3. Separate the wiring protector (A) after loosening the mounting nuts.

    Tightening torque: 

    8.9 - 10.7 N.m (0.9 - 1.1 kgf.m, 6.5 - 7.9 lb.ft)

  4. Disconnect the front active purge pump sensor connector (A).
  5. Release the fixing hook and then remove the active purge pump sensor (B).
