Body Domain Control Unit Variant Coding

Information 

• Body domain control unit variant coding makes it possible to operate functions for each vehicle type.
• If the variant coding differs from the vehicle specification, a DTC is displayed.

1. If the body domain control unit (BDC) is replaced with a new one, perform the "Variant Coding" procedure using diagnostic tool.
   1. Connect the diagnostic device to the data link connector, turn on the ignition (IGN ON), and then activate the diagnostic tool.
   2. Select the 'Car model' and "BDC-BCM".
   3. Select the 'Variant Coding' and follow the instructions on the screen.
