DTC Information And Inspection: History

Clear the DTC with GDS.
Turn ignition switch ON.
Shake the wire of motor connector 10 times by hand and see if the DTC returns.
- If the DTC returns:
  Check the motor terminal (A), (B), and short to ground. Repair as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
- If the DTC does NOT return:
  The fault is intermittent caused by poor contact of the control module's connector. Or, the control module's memory was not cleared after repair. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
