Repair Procedures: Installation
- Disconnect the battery negative cable from battery and wait for at least three minutes before beginning work.
- Place a passenger airbag on the crash pad and tighten the passenger airbag mounting bolts (A).
Tightening torque:
3.9 - 5.9 N.m (0.4 - 0.6 kgf.m, 2.9 - 4.4 lb - ft)
- Install the main crash pad assembly.
(Refer to Body - "MAIN CRASH PAD ASSEMBLY ")
- Reconnect the battery cable (-).
- After installing the airbag module, confirm proper system operation.NOTE:
- Switch ON the ignition. The SRS indicator light should turn on for about three - six seconds and then off.
