• When the ECM detects an irregularity, it records the diagnostic trouble code, and outputs the signal to the Data Link connector.
• DTC codes are not deleted even if IG OFF.

Information 

• Low battery voltage can degrade self-diagnosis and the malfunction cannot be detected, so check the battery voltage and other conditions before inspection.
• If a sensor or actuator connector is disconnected with the IG turned on, the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) is recorded. In this case, disconnect the battery negative terminal (-) for 15 seconds or more, and the diagnosis memory will be erased.
