[Bank 1/Exhaust]

  1. Disconnect the battery (-) terminal.
  2. Remove the air cleaner.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")

  3. Remove the battery.

    (Refer to Engine Electrical System - "BATTERY ")

  4. Remove the EWGA.

    (Refer to Electric WGT Control Actuator - "Removal ")

  5. Separate the engine hanger & service cover, after loosening the engine hanger mounting bolt (A).
  6. Disconnect the camshaft position sensor connector (A).

  7. Remove the camshaft position sensor (A), after loosening the mounting bolt.

    Tightening Torque: 

    9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb-ft)
