DTC Information and Inspection: History

  1. Clear the DTC with GDS.
  2. Turn OFF the ignition switch and engine, and then keep the engine ON.
  3. Shake the wire of motor connector 10 times by hand and see if the DTC returns.
    • If the DTC returns:

      Check short in pressure sensor signal circuit (body, other controllers etc.) and open in pressure sensor power circuit. Repair as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

    • If the DTC does NOT return:

      The fault is intermittent caused by poor contact of the control module's connector. Or, the control module's memory was not cleared after repair. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
