LKAS (Lane Keep Assistant System)

The LKA-L has a CAN line that is directly linked to the SCC besides a Chassis CAN line, which is called the Local CAN. The Local CAN line carries CAN signals administering operation of the FCA (Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist).

This function is mainly controlled by the SCC, not the LKA-L, thus, a LKA-L warning lamp would not illuminate when an error occurs regarding the CAN signals. Still, the DTC will be stored.
