Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (ECTS) #2

Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
Remove the intake manifold.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "INTAKE MANIFOLD ")
Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector (A). Refer to illustration below.
Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor after loosening mounting bolt (B).
Tightening Torque:

9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb.ft)

- Note that engine coolant may flow out when removing the sensor.
