HPCU is the hybrid Integrated controller, which is composed of inverter/LDC/Vehicle controller. It is the key equipment to operate the motor and charge 12V battery.

MDPS monitors HEV Ready Signal (instead of engine status of the vehicle), and determines the operation of MDPS.
