DTC Information and Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

  • Level 2 process monitoring
  1. Contact resistance in connectors
  2. Faulty ECM
Prerequisite Condition
  • Ignition switch is turned "ON" or engine is running with speed over 32rpm.
Threshold Value
  • Actual value is higher or lower than allowable range.
Diagnosis Time
  • 0.48 Seconds
Case 2 Main Action
  • Level 2 process monitoring
Prerequisite Condition
  • Engine is running with speed over 32rpm.
Threshold value
  • Torque difference between actual and set-point value is higher than allowable range.
Diagnosis Time
  • 0.48 Seconds
Case 3 Main Action
  • Level 2 process monitoring
Prerequisite Condition
  • Engine is running with speed over 32rpm.
Threshold Value
  • Engine speed is too high when ETC limp home is active.
  • Engine speed is higher than 1760rpm.

  • Check RAM Area/communication connections
Prerequisite Condition
  • Ignition switch is turned "ON".

  • RAM test/Checksum/SPI communication failure
