DTC Description

The DTC P040100 sets when the EGR gas circulation amount, detected by the EGR valve drive, the engine speed and the air amount measurement sensor is lower than the target value. This DTC appears when the EGR valve is stuck shut or the EGR gas circulation path is blocked or leaked or the intake system is leaked. The actual value, which is lower by a certain amount than the target value, is perceived as an error.
