Steering Angle Sensor
The SAS is used to determine turning direction and speed of the steering wheel. It sends CAN signals on the direction through CAN communication lines to the ESP (ESC). Then, the IBAU uses them when performing ESP-related calculations including the steering speed and direction and controlling the anti-roll system.
