Main Action
  • Monitor signals
  1. Poor contact of connector
  2. Checking operation of ETC
  3. Restriction in intake or exhaust system
  4. Faulty Spark Plug & Ignition Coil
Prerequisite Condition
  • After catalyst heating is active is higher than 4 sec
  • BARO is greater than 74.5 kPa
  • Engine load is greater than 65%
  • Vehicle is not rapidly accelerating or decelerating
Threshold Value
  • The target ignition timing and the current ignition timing are abnormal during a cold start
Diagnostic Time
  • 10 sec
