Troubleshooting Condition Possible Cause
Main Action
  • Electrical inspection
  1. Poor contact of connector
  2. Open or short to power in IATS signal circuit
  3. Open in IATS ground circuit
  4. IATS
Prerequisite Condition
  • Following conditions continue for more than 10 sec
    • ECT at Start is lower than -30°C (-22°F)
    • ECT is higher than 70°C (158°F)
    • Vehicle speed is higher than 10 Km/h
Threshold Value
  • Sensor voltage is greater than 4.93V
Diagnostic Time
  • 2.5 sec
