Repair Procedures: Replacement
Information
- If possible, use a 4-post lift (A) to maintain level.
- Shut off the engine and wait for at least 5 minutes.
- Remove the under cover. (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")
- Loosen the drain plug (A) and then drain the fluid.
- Install the drain plug (B) with new gasket (A).
Tightening torque:
34.3 - 44.1 N.m (3.5 - 4.5 kgf.m, 25.3 - 35.5 lb-ft)
- Remove the air cleaner assembly and air duct. (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")
- Loosen the filler plug (A).
- Fill new fluid of 1.8 ~ 1.9 l
through the filler plug hole (A).CAUTION:
- Must only use the oil specified, otherwise, it may seriously damage the transmission.
fluid specified: GS WDCTF HD H (WET DCT HYDRAULIC CONTROL OIL)
- After starting up the engine, drive the vehicle forward/backward more than 1 time,
- Add fluid while checking the fluid level. (Hydraulic System - "Dual Clutch Transmission Control Oil")
- Install the filler plug (A) with new gasket (B).
Tightening torque:
34.3 - 44.1 N.m (3.5 - 4.5 kgf.m, 25.3 - 35.5 lb-ft)
NOTE:- The existing gasket (A) must be replaced with a new one. (Do not reuse it.)
- After changing the Control Oil, perform the air bleeding diagnosis and the air bleeding procedure using the diagnostic device.
- Install the air cleaner assembly and air duct. (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")
