Main Action
  • Monitor idle speed deviation - too low
  1. Poor Connector Connection
  2. Air leakage on Intake System
  3. Faulty Throttle Body
Prerequisite Condition
  • Engine coolant temperature is higher than 56°C (132.8°F)
  • No transaxle gear is shifted.
  • Battery voltage is between 10V and 16V.
Threshold Value
  • Actual engine speed is at least 100 RPM lower than targeted engine speed at idle.
Diagnostic Time
  • 3.5 Seconds
MIL On Condition
  • 3rd Driving Cycle
