DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitor the spark timing
  1. Faulty Ignition Coil
  2. Faulty ECM
Enable Conditions
  • After catalyst heating is active is higher than 4 sec
  • BARO is greater than 74.5 kPa
  • Engine load is greater than 55%
  • Vehicle is not rapidly accelerating or decelerating.
Threshold Value
  • Target spark efficiency is over threshold greater than actual spark efficiency
Diagnostic Time
  • -
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
