DTC Description

P0401 code is the case that the amount of EGR gas circulation detected by the EGR valve drive amount, engine RPM, and air quantity measurement sensor signal is lower than the target amount. It is displayed when the EGR value is closed and stuck, the EGR gas circulation path is blocked/leaking, or the intake system is leaking. If the target airflow is lower than the actual value for a certain degree, it is detected as an error.
