Repair Procedures: Inspection
- Turn the ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect the canister close valve (CCV) connector.
- Measure resistance between the CCV terminals 1 and 2.
- Check that the resistance is within the specification.
Item Specification Coil Resistance (Ω) 19.0 - 22.0 [20°C (68°F)] - Disconnect the vapor hose connected to the canister from the CCV.
- Connect the vacuum pump to the nipple.
- Ground the CCV control line and apply battery voltage to the CCV power supply line.
