Component Inspection

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
  2. Disconnect EGR Valve.
  3. Check if the foreign adsorption remains on the electronic EGR valve.
  4. Replace the normal EGR valve with a working one for temporary.
  5. Does it work properly?

    YES 

    • Replace the EGR Valve with an usable one and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace the EGR Valve and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".

    NO 

    • Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
