Repair Procedures: Inspection

- Turn OFF ignition switch and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
- Remove the air cleaner assembly.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")
- Disconnect the neutral switch connector (A).
- Check the continuity between no. 1 and 2 terminals of neutral position switch.
When the shift lever is in neutral, there should be continuity.
