Repair Procedures: Removal
- Set shift lever to N position.
- Remove the IVTF drain plug allow the fluid to drain out and then reinstall the drain plug.
(Refer to Hydraulic System - "FLUID ")
- Remove the Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT).
(Refer to Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT) System (C0GF1) - "REPAIR PROCEDURES ")
- Loosen the bolts and then removing the heat protector (A, B, C).
- Loosen the bolts and then removing the rear housing (A).
Tightening torque:
19.6 - 26.5 N.m (2.0 - 2.7 kgf.m, 14.5 - 19.5 lb-ft)
- Loosen the bolts and then removing the parking sprag (A) from rear housing.
Tightening torque:
24.5 - 29.4 N.m (2.5 - 3.0 kgf.m, 18.1 - 21.7 lb-ft)
