Component Inspection

1. IG "OFF".
2. IG "ON".
3. Connect GDS and select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)" mode.
4. Using a GDS, Clear DTC.
5. Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)" mode again.
6. Are any DTCs present?

YES 

• The main cause of this code is that improper CAN signal from TCM system is detected.
• Check DTCs in TCM system. If there is a code in TCM system, Repair according to DTC diagnostic guide of TCM system (See DTC INDEX ).

NO 

• Fault is intermittent caused by poor connection in CAN signal harness and/or HECU's connector. Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
